It is indeed your birthright to share your information with anyone. However, be cautious when you are online! Internet is the origin of all the troubles. It is a place where anonymous users viz. good, ill-will people come together to share, steal, and use information.

Of course, hackers or eavesdroppers will not have a good reason behind targeting someone's personal information. It can be stolen and then misused for threatening and/or ransoming someone. Below are some of the tricks that can be used to prevent online threats:

Use a Safe Email Address

There are websites that ask you to fill in your email address to verify incoming emails. Use someuser@example.com as your email address on anonymous websites. This protected address will ensure that this website never reaches you or any real user. Besides, you will never receive emails from this website.

Draw on multiple passwords

Well, you might feel little irritated over this, but it is the easiest way to keep yourself protected. If you have multiple accounts registered on different websites, keep different passwords for each one of them. Use an alpha-numeric combination to make it difficult for read. You must also note these passwords down on a piece of paper (keep it safe and away from unknown people) so as to avoid facing login problems. Whenever, you change your password for any account, note it down as memorizing all the passwords and then new ones is simply beyond one's capability.
