After this japanese nuclear accident do you think i can still get this book publishedplease read?

I had an idea for a comedy involving a guy who invents a fusion reactor that blows up (a fusion explosion produces no radiation, hence why it could still be funny). Now that this has happened in Japan I am not sure I could ever get it published. What do you think? I am praying the reactor does not melt down, not only for their sake but for my comedy's sake.
