How Packt marketed themselves into DDos and survived to tell the tale

At the extremity of September Packt, a technical publishing society, celebrated the publication of its 1000th book. In doing so, it offered customers individual eBook each for free. The campaign was marketed to Packt's email database, without ceasing its social media accounts, across its website, and in ctinuance a number of blogs. On the primeval day of the campaign, Packt's website peaked at over ten times as much traffic as it usually deals with.Unsurprisingly, the site toppled over.
